SMX Display Network Panel Discussion

google display network reachTed Ives spoke recently at the SMX East conference in New York City.   The various SMX Conferences are a great way to get up to speed on what’s happening in the SEM industry, ranging from hearing about Google’s recent (and constant) changes, to sophisticated strategies for optimizing accounts.  We highly recommend these conferences; they’re great both for SEM newbies and veterans alike.

The panel Ted spoke on discussed various approaches for maximizing reach and performance on the Google Display Network.  Ginny Marvin of MarketingLand chaired the panel, and Cara deBeer with CatalystSEM and Michelle Morgan from Clix Marketing brought some great perspectives…this panel was packed with experience, and each has had their share of successes (and mistakes!).
Andrew Park of QuanticMind recounted the different points each speaker made, we highly recommend checking out his bullet items – he did a great job covering the entire conference actually (the photos above were, we believe, taken by him).
Ted spoke with an emphasis on thinking of analyzing your placement reports in terms of categories, both for performance purposes and for brand protection, which is a pretty hot topic this year.
